<p> Hello...I am new to Real Town and Master Mind caught my eye. I have been in the business for 15 years. I am currently the President of The Higgins Group, a 15 office Christie&#39;s Great Estate Affiliate in Fairfield County, CT. Five years ago I formed The Vanderblue Team, a strong group of top producing agents and marketeers. We have successfully been combining our efforts to offer more skill, creativity and service to our clients and it has been a blessing to work beside such an amazing group of realtors. The team also allows us to incubate ideas and as they are implemented and become successful, as president, I can then bring them to the agents company wide. I embrace education and attend (<em>or send teammates</em>) as many educational seminars and events as possible...(while staying busy selling houses!). I have just become the President of the Woman&#39;s Council (WCR) for the Fairfield County Chapter and I am thrilled and honored to be part of this dynamic organization. My most difficult task these days is time management as there are SO many tools that I want to take advantage of in our Industry and only so many hours in a day to implement, organize, and master these tools. The Team helps but stepping outside and getting advise from other professionals keeps me moving forward. Thank you in advance for welcoming me to your group. I have been messing around with a couple of new programs to help my business and here are two that I love.<br /> <br /> 1. www.eyejot.com<br /> This FREE web based software allows me to send 30 second video mails. Since most of my business is coming from the internet I have found it a great tool to introduce myself to potential clients. It&#39;s very high touch and low pressure. Plus everyone likes to put a face with a name, now you can also put your personality with an email. It&#39;s fantastic.<br /> <br /> 2. www.jott.com<br /> This online software allows me to text and return emails from my phone, yes true hands free texting and email. There is a free version of the software, but it only allows you to take notes, not text or send email. <p> We keep hearing that, don&#39;t we? Get your attitude together! Think good thoughts! </p> <p> We started working in that direction with Napoleon Hill&#39;s <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Think-Grow-Rich-Napoleon-Hill/dp/0449214923">Think and Grow Rich</a>. We&#39;ve also listened to <a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&amp;field-keywords=Anthony+robbins">Anthony Robbins</a>. </p> <p> Now there is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Rhonda-Byrne/dp/1582701709/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1226337867&amp;sr=1-1">The Secret</a> by Rhonda Byrne which is all about the Law of Attraction. And what we think of as the workbook for The Secret is called <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Key-Missing-Secret-Attracting-Anything/dp/0470180765/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1226337939&amp;sr=1-1">The Key</a> by Joe Vitale. </p> <p> All of these are good. All will help put you in a better frame of mind. </p> <p> But first, you have to WANT to be there. You want to make changes and you want, not just your business, but your life to go in a different direction. </p>

<p> You know you want to make changes in your life and your business. But you think you might need some help. Someone to encourage you and offer positive suggestions. </p> <p> It seems to us there has been a rise in what are called career coaches or life coaches or business coaches. We&#39;ve checked out several and we like what these have to offer: </p> <p> First and foremost is <a href="http://www.joeann.com">Joeann Fossland.</a> She is a frequent RealTalk contributor and is very real estate oriented. She espouses the Law of Attraction but does it in a fun and realistic way. She has a free weekly e-newsletter that is very informative. </p> <p> Someone that Joeann recently suggested is <a href="http://www.philiphumbert.com">Philip Humbert.</a> He too has a weekly e-newsletter and also has some free e-books that can be downloaded. He has an excellent Goals 101 e-book that you can download for free. </p> <p> Both of these people conduct both group and individual coaching classes. We haven&#39;t tried those, but if the free stuff they put out is any indication, the purchased coaching should be wonderful. </p> <p> And last, but not least, is Mike Dooley with his <a href="http://www.tut.com">Thoughts Become Things</a> website. There you can sign up for a free Note from the Universe. It sits in your e-mail box every weekday morning and is just a bright and shiny thought to get your day off right. </p>
